Testimonials

Connecting with Anabelle for clinical supervision was an incredibly rewarding experience! Her client-centered approach provided me ownership of the space allowing us to explore topics ranging from diagnostics, to processing client scenarios, to career development. Each supervision left me feeling like I had grown in my clinical practice. So grateful for the experience!

The Caregivers state that the training you did was the best, the most applicable and most informative out of all the trainings. They truly enjoyed the personal experiences, the way the training was organized and the quality of facilitators.  We would love to coordinate another round of training with you.

As a new professional, it can be challenging to feel confident in your work with clients and let your voice be heard within a treatment team. Anabelle empowered me to build my confidence and find my voice through her clinical knowledge, unconditional support, and enthusiastic encouragement.

Anabelle is an powerhouse of a supervisor and clinician. I sought her services when I was experiencing really intense challenges at my job and had to pivot into a new job for my career and well-being. Anabelle supported me both emotionally and logistically. She is an intelligent, seasoned clinician who was incredibly responsive and supportive for me during a time when I really needed it. Best money I’ve spent!

As a young professional entering the workforce. Anabelle helped me develop my therapeutic identity. She helped me build on my strengths of advocating for the youths we served, and was enlightening with her guidance helping me improve in other areas where I wasn’t as strong.

David Shields, Direct Service Staff

I sought outside supervision with Anabelle when I was starting out as a school social worker. I didn't have an onsite supervisor, and I benefited so much from Anabelle's wealth of experience, insight and non judgemental presence. Anabelle was supportive, direct and prompted helpful reflection. I came away from every supervision session with valuable takeaways, and fresh perspectives that I'm positive have made me a better clinician.

Anabelle was my very first supervisor during my clinical internship while I was in graduate school. Anabelle not only challenged me to analyze and refine my clinical skills, but she also encouraged my development through providing abundant resources and applicable interventions during the start of my career. I have had a handful of supervisors since working with Anabelle and I can honestly say I miss her supervision style very much! Rather than focusing primarily on administrative tasks such as progress notes and billing , Anabelle truly focuses the supervision time on whatever is necessary for her supervisees to become the best clinicians that they can!

Throughout my time as a supervisee to Anabelle, I encountered immense growth in my professional and clinical skills. Anabelle inherently created a safe and inviting environment within supervision which allowed me to comfortably process difficult client cases, clinical questions and matters of professional development. Anabelle not only supported me in such, but also challenged me to cultivate confidence within my clinical work. Anabelle always executed the perfect balance of answering my questions and also encouraging me to find answers to the questions she knew I was capable of answering myself. I owe so much of my professional growth to the support and guidance provided by Anabelle throughout our supervision. Without her, I can truly say I would not be the clinician I am proud to be today.

I began working with Anabelle as my supervisor during my internship with DFCS youths in care in 2016. Even during the interview process, I was drawn to her organized and straight forward style. In community mental health, being organized and direct can save lots of time and speed up the learning process. There’s no need to sugar coat your questions with her, she’s open and honest. When I was worried about finding a job after graduating she was very supportive and eased my anxiety. She was also instrumental in teaching about different modalities and organizing and teaching not only the clients at the facility but the staff also. At the organization, there were both clinical and non clinical trained staff members. Under Anabelle’s clinical leadership and training, the clinical and the non clinical staff members were able to offer the clients a comprehensive therapeutic environment. Her leadership and teamwork helped the clients and staff (including myself) get over the burnout that can set in when working in mental health. You only get a few great supervisors throughout your career. If you can appreciate someone who is organized, supportive, values your time, and will give you the most up to date clinical information then Anabelle is a great option.
